One of the best feature of electric kettle is it should be cordless. One of the most advantageous benefits experienced by those choosing to switch from the traditional methods of boiling water to the more convenient cordless electric kettle comes in the form of optimized time savings, cutting the time it normally takes to boil water by as much as seventy five percent. So for the cordless electric kettle water level indicator is essential. It must be long lasting and more durable. You can get more information about it from the coolkettles.co.uk. so go with this my provided link.
Unfortunately the problem is in the switch mechanism, and will need to be replaced to correct the problem. My sense is it would be cheaper to replace the kettle than trying to find somebody to repair it.
Professional chefs face this problem many times over with their stainless steel wares. Fill the coffee pot with water. Add a tbs of bleach. Let set for 2 hours. See if that helps. If it doesn't, please let me know.
It must be the kettle causing the problem from what you say. If th e kettle is new the problem should reduce with use but if it is old it will get worse (possibbly due to rubber washers/seals perishing)
There's several home remedies you can try:
Try 50% "White Vinegar", 50% Hot Water or
2 Denture tablets in warm water over night or
Baking soda in warm water.
These remove the alkaline, minerals, and nitrates that build up on the surface.
There is even a commercial product you can use to clean it. I can't recall the name but look in any supermarket, you should be able to locate it.
