Power goes off when truned on

Something in the power supply gave out, your going to need a new board, don't order boards by model and make, use the part number on the board...you can get a replacement board from shopjimmy.com or ebay

You could mail it to a repair facility, which is what Canon recommends. If you want to try and fix it yourself, you could remove the ink and re-insert it. If you have any cans of compressed air, spraying some around the paper feed and ink slots could help.

Have the power supply checked for bad capaictors on the power board. Also this board can be purchased for around $100.00 at www.shopjimmy.com

When it turns off and green power light goes off:

On front of set press and hold both the Menu and Input buttons for at least 5 seconds and release both buttons.

Power light will blink a two digit error code like: 2 blinks, 2 blinks, a pause and repeat it several times.

Let me know what error code you find and I will tell you what it means.

We have the same problem, we placed our oven in self cleaning mode and now it will not open up... All power has since has shut off. Please assist us with turning the power back on, thanks....

blinking red mean there is problem on one of the boards. it s a computer so it is stopping it to keep it from burning something up the 2-4 seconds is a system check.

Most likely the fan motor needs new brushes.

I had this problem for the pat two days. Believe it or not I took my Ipod touch of the dock. Shut the power off to the Ipod to reset it. Also the power to the docking station. turned everything back on. Put the Ipod back into the docking station and heard the beep.. and hit play and it was working again. Not sure but shutting Ipod off does act like a reset.

oil condition could be a problem
I am inclined to think that you took the car to an auto spares shop that does free fault codes reading, you will find that it is servos/ solenoids or problem TCM that is causing the problems
may even be problem wiring connectors or harness problems around the transmission
I am sure that it is not a transmission problem , just what controls the ration changes

Check your wires for cross polarity
