Kenwood KDC-C669 error message

Just today when I tried to play my CDs in my car, i hit the CD button and a message of "NO" then "DJ" appeared on the radio screen. I am under the assumption DJ meant Disc Jam but am not sure. I took the CDs out, reinserted and same thing......... I did this a few times just to be sure they were in properly etc, never had this problem before and am wondering if anyone can help me out w/ what might be causing this. Thanks Brenda

HI when you put the mag in does it try to load? ie does the cd select the trays? if not then it sounds like you have a faulty unit and will need to get it repaired. regards Mark www.carradiospares.co.uk

Hi....

Just accumulated dust can cause issues with the reader pickup
I'm not sure what T99 means but if you want to spend $35-90 to fix it,

TOC Error

Burned ones? Or do "real" CDs do it, too? If ALL do, then the laser was damaged or misalligned and will have to be serviced.
