SOURCE: i have an audiolab 8000p power amplifier one

Hi
I had the same problem & found a solution that might solve yours, too.
The protection relays are **** quality. One on mine (left channel) got stuck and refuses to close although it gets a signal. I replaced both relays with two OMRON G2R-1 DC 24V 5PIN ones and now everything is back to normal.

Why does my Audiolab 8000s mute light stay on?

Your amp is probably in Protect Mode, meaning you have DC Offset( a damaged amplifier). That will have to be repaired, before you can switch the unit on. If you need more assistance, or would like to inquire about repairing it, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me there. Thank you.

Brother faxes 8360P and 8000P - how do I progamme the machine to dial a 9 before each number please ? as my machines are connected to extensions on the PABX. Thanks

As I'm aware you can not program a number before every number you use. However you can progam the one touch or speed dials you can enter the 9 before the numbers. On some systems thay may need 9 then a pause then the number.

Audiolab 8000CD Player Problem

This may be a problem with the sled motor. This is the motor that moves the optical assembly in and out along a rail. Try openint up the unit and cleaning off the rail with a dry cotton swab. Be careful not the leave any fibers on the rails. Also, while you are in there, clean the lens using another cotton swab and alcohol. Report back with your results.
