I have the PDA seated properly and it still will not charge. It was fine and fully charged yesterday. Today I went to use it and it seems totally dead. Have had it plugged in for several hours and nothing.
What can I do; I do not have a place to hardset it like the brand website suggests.
Please see the following link to locate the reset hole for your PDA.
Try a soft reset and let us know if that helped with anything.

Get a new battery at Batteries Plus. Take the GPS in and they have to switch the connecter end from the old battery with the one on the new battery (part # PDA-192LI) and put the unit back together and everything will work fine. I just did it today. The cost was $25.19 :)
Try to connect the AC adaptor of your laptop and plug it to the wall outlet and let it charge for 3 hours or more. When you plug it on the wall socket, it won't show the laptop's led blinking since it was totally drained. But after 3 minutes or more, it will start to show the blinking led to indicate charging. When blinking stops led light disappears, it is fully charged and ready to use.
Remember: Do not use your laptop while it is plugged in to save your battery life. When at home, remove the battery while it is fully charged and plug the AC adaptor directly to the wall outlet. It will still work without the battery as long as it is plugged directly to the wall socket.
This is going to sound strange but, have someone get over to where your starter is. While you try and start it have them tap on it slightly with a small hammer.
I t could be the brushes are hanging up.
Otherwise, I would pull the starter and have an auto center test it.
Please let me know what you find.
The camera was working fine 5 days ago. Yesterday when I tried to switch it on, I assumed that the battery was flat so I charged it but when fully charged the camera still won't switch on. i Please help!
The easiest solutions are easily overlooked.
1. Check your charger; a cheap multimeter will do for the voltage check. If the voltage (dc) written on the back of the charger is what you get at the plug, go to (2),if not, change your charger, problem solved. 2.You either have a messed up screen or battery. 3. Check the voltage at your battery terminals after charging the battery for like 1hr. If you do not get a resonable read; 2-5v ,just trash the battery and head for the nearest shop to get a fresh one.In case your battery reads okay, your screen or worse, one of the components on the board of the set has gone kaput.
