HI,
I AM JESSICA PORRAS. I PURCHASED AN ILO PLASMA 42" T.V. FROM WALMART IN 2006. THE T.V. LASTED 1 YEAR AND POPPED A FUSE. THE SCREEN WENT BLACK, BUT VOICE IS STILL COMING THROUGH. I DID HAVE WARRANTY AND MY MONEY WAS RETURNED. I HAVE A QUESTION AS FAR AS THE BRAND 'ILO' GOES. CAN THE PARTS BE CROSSED WITH ANOTHER BRAND? SINCE THE FUSE HAS POPPED, WE HAVE REPLACED THE FUSE 3 TIMES, AND IT KEEPS POPPING THE FUSE. THE LAST 2 FUSES HAS BEEN A CERAMIC FUSE AND IT WILL BURN THEM. THERE IS A SHORT AND WE ARE WANTING TO CHANGE OUT THE TRANSFORMERS. IF I CAN HAVE A TECHNICIAN CALL ME @ 432-553-6784cell OR 800-880-2817work M-F 8-5PM CST. YOU CAN ALSO RESPOND BY E-MAIL.

Check the backlight or have a pro check it. If it doesnt say in the owners manual how to do it, its not a consumer replaceable item. Good Luck

My Sharp TV will only hear sound. No picture or images even from the tv menu setup option. Model# LC-19SB25U. About 1.5 yrs old. Converter box ok.

In most cases, you can reset the TV by leaving it unplugged for 30mins.
If this doesn't work, I believe the circuit board that supplies power to the screen maybe bad. They call this board a backlight inverter board. It would most likely cost more to repair than replace the TV .

Ilo problem

What I hear you saying is that your main television tuner shows lines only while the PIP is functioning properly. The PIP works by using a separate tuner from the main tuner of your television (like a vcr tuner). Since the PIP works then it appears that your main tv tuner is not working anymore. It will probably have to be replaced. I recommend looking at our online technician list for a professional near you.

On the back of the tv, there is a compartment.( Before loosening the screw, unplug tv and wait 30 min... ) Once you have the door open, loosen 2 more screws and pull the handle, this will pull out the tv's lamp. Check and see if the lamp is blown.

I wish I could help you ,, Can u help me ? I don't have the manual for my 32 ilo tv and I think the brightness need to be adjust -- am only hearing sound, not seeing any picture .
