I have a KS2503 DVD player and it will no longer cut on. I can't find my user manual so I have no troubleshooting suggestions. One day it just stopped working. If I can't get it to work do I have to buy a whole new theater system or can I just get another DVD player and hook it into the speakers and subwoofer I already have?

That's usually a sign of internal failure. But, try a reset of the dvd player by disconnecting the power cord and leaving it disconnected for at least one full hour. Also, check the manual of the player to see if they have a reset instruction in the troubleshooting section of the owner/users manual.
Check the capacitors in the power supply and replace the ones that are large and/or leaking. They usually look puffed up on the top. Also check the solder connections on the power supply. Very common with these "KOSS" units.
I've had great luck getting manuals for all kinds of products by Googling the manufactures' web sites. Once there I ask for or click on manuals. Then enter the model #. sometimes the serrial # is required. You can also try short cutting by Googling " manual for brand model # ". Good luck.
