I have got a U2 fault code on my top dishdrawer.I think it means the door is open when trying to wash.I push the power button to clear the code and close the drawer again but the fault keeps appearing when trying to do a wash. What next?
The fault with my DishDrawer is that after I turn it on, usually after the powder has been taken, but once it was before, it starts to do funny beeping and a red light and an error code of U2.
I didn't understand what you said to the last person who had this problem.
We moved into this house with this dishwasher and there were no instructions left. I don't know if that model is our model. I think the Dishwasher is about 5 or more years old.The fault with my DishDrawer is that after I turn it on, usually after the powder has been taken, but once it was before, it starts to do funny beeping and a red light and an error code of U2.

Re: U2 fault code?
The last two faults are logged into EE memory.
The other U (user) faults have been removed. The old U2 fault, which was the tub forced open during a cycle, has
been removed completely. Instead if the tub is forced open the product simply pauses as if someone had pressed
the start/pause button. The old U3 fault, which indicated a failure to drain i.e. water left in the tub, will not show up a
fault and the DishDrawer will continue through the cycle

from what I'm seeing for the dishwasher, an E1 error means that the door is not properly closed. So, please look at the door of the machine to make sure that nothing is broken or that the dishwasher isn't too full. Thank you.
On front-load washers, it can stand for "door error", meaning the main control board thinks the door is open. If the door is actually closed and the de error won't clear, the electric door lock could be shorted, giving a false signal to the main control board. On the Samsung top-loader, it means a "child lock error" has happened. On that washer, you will see "CL" or "DE", the washer will auto-drain and an alarm will sound. To clear the error, close the door, turn off the power, then turn it back on.
the power board at the base of the dishwasher under bottom drawer appears to have blown up. Take the bottom drawer out carefully to access the power board. Make sure the mains power is turned off.
The reason the bottom drawer is not getting back in is that lid seal actuators are stuck as the motors are in close position. Will reset to normal position once the power is restored. So don't try to push the drawer in as the lid seal will be damaged.
The OD "fault" code on the display means "OPENED DOOR". This does not mean the machine thinks the door is open, but it has not recognised that the door was opened prior to starting a wash cycle. This could be because you filled it, then turned it off before turning it back on to run the cycle. Often you can clear this "code" by simply opening and closing the door again and starting the wash cycle as normal. If this doesn't work then there may be a fault in the door lock switch or the control board.
Thats a odd one.
That means the machine speed is programed wrong.
Try pressing # * C * , that will enter diagnostice.
Enter 16 which is U2 fault clear and press start, then press 1 and start. DO that a couple of times then press the yellow clear and hte machine will reset.
Or power the machine off and on.
Did you replavce a board or software? Thats a weird code to just pop up.
A U2-00 is an internal error code from the main processing board's EEPROM (the chip that stores your configuration choices, the copier's serial number, etc.) It can be a faulty EEPROM but most likely the copier took a power hit/glitch and the fault needs to be reset.
To clear the fault make sure the copier is in Copy mode, then press the 'P' key, then the 'Interrupt' key, then the Clear (C) key, then the 'Interrupt' key. This will enter the machine into simulation mode.
Now enter the number 16 and press start. The machine may also ask you to confirm your choice or you may have an 'execute' key on the LCD screen.
Once the fault has been cleared the machine should reboot. If it doesn't, press the 'CA' (clear all) button and the machine should reboot.
If the U2 code persists, you need to call a repair technician to facilitate repairs.
A U2 is related to a memory failure. May be a bad memory chip or main board. BUT, before we get drastic and move in that direction there are a couple of other things that I have seen cause that. So, first I have seen the chip on the back of the drum cartridge cause that problem. You can try removing the drum cartridge and powering on the machine without that installed. See if it just comes up with a J2 code then. Or even a CH code. If the code changes you may simply have a failed drum cartridge. Sometimes memory corruption can occur and you can clear it using this procedure..
Performing a Fault Reset 14 will reset your WorkCentre and will help to clear error codes.
Find the pink Clear button on the Control Panel of the WorkCentre.
Find the button below the word Auto.
Press these buttons in the following sequence: [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto]
NOTE:
All of the lights on the Control Panel should go out and the LED
Display should go blank. If the lights do not go out, then repeat step
3 until they do. It may be necessary to increase or decrease the pace
of the [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto] sequence.
Press the [10's] key one time and the [1's] key four times to enter '14' in the LED Display, as if you were to make 14 copies.
Press the green [Start] button.
Press the pink [Clear] button two times.
The WorkCentre should now warm up and come to ready.
If the above steps do not clear the error code, repeat steps 3 to 6 a second time.
look closely at hte display in theright corner is there a little icon that looks like a "lock". if so your control lock is on. do you get any response from any buttons??? if your able to power it up did you try to stop/andrestart unit. sounds like a silly question but sometimes the lid locks down from a power surge/interuption. restarting or canceling current cycle forced drawer to unlock and lock itself..assuming this is the top drawer is the bottom functioning ok??, behind the bottom drawer taped on back wall of inside of unit is atech sheet, with a pretty good troubleshooter. to remove the drawer push in rectangler hinge locks in hte bottom front corner of drawer front, just below the circles(no noeed to remove the circles)push themin and slide back the drawer will lift off and your able to set it aside(wont come out to far its connected by the hoses but itll come out enough(reset the door unto the hinge slides and pull hte lock latch foward to lock back into place
