Hi, I was wondering if you could help. My casio lcd screen tonight has decide to go entirely white. This problem has been posted before with the suggestion to take the battery out and put it in after 10 mins. I have done this and still isnt working. The screen is still all white, I cant make out anything at all on the screen. All functions on the camera still work because photos can be viewed through the cradle.
Can anyone help, or is this a phyiscal repair job.
I hope its something I can do rather than send it back.

The T con board or the LCD panel is faulty . You have to replace the TCON Board to confirm whether it was tcon or the LCD panel.

Basically the white dot is a dead pixel, this is common with LCD screens. You have nothing much to worry about unless the screen develops more dead pixels which could lead to a screen replacement although its highly unlikely.
if the camera makes pics pics but the schreen is white. this is a lcd faul. its probaly that is only a faul contact of the lcd flat. if the lcd flat is right connected , you must cahange the lcd. the lcd cost for your camera to one international seller on alibaba can are from 20 to 35 euro...if you change it alone. sorry for my bad english

Where did you buy the LCD for DSC-T70, can you provide me a link? I decided to put to the support store recommended by Sony Tech Support authorized dealers. Did u try to contact them?
HI, this is isolated within the LCD screen. the input ribbon may be defective or, the entire screen could also be damaged. you will have to replace the lcd screen in this case due to the integrated design. you can confirm my diagnosis by, pullingthe battery or plug for 5 minutes. if this screen is still not operating normally after you re insert the battery, this will confirm LCD screen failure.
yah. it can be fixed but i cant help you with that. i suggest that you should go the store where you bought the camera and request for replacement of your LCD.
