My microwave quit heating last night. It does everything else as far as allowing me to input information on the pad. It counts down and the lights work. It just doesn't heat. Any solutions? Thanks.
What could cause this problem coud be a bad door switch, a bad HI Voltage capacitor, a bad power transformer, a bad Rectifier, a bad magnatron,or a bad circuit control board. Any one of these repairs could run from 65 to fix, all the way up to 200 bucks. You are probablt right, its time to buy a newer type with more lights, bells, and whistles. Good Luck

The appliance has worked great up til now. I am assuming I just have to replace the whole applicance due to the cost it will probably take to fix it.
