My JVC TV (Model Number: LT-23C50BJ/wide LCD Panel TV) which I purchased 15months ago stopped working. Specifically, I turned it on then shortly thereafter, it went off. I heard a popping sound like when a bulb goes out. There was also a funny little smell. With that, does anyone has any ideas on what might have happened? Also how to repair? As this TV is relatively new, somewhat surprised. More importantly, I have no idea how to fix or what the possible repair charges would be. HELP!!
The set needs to be taken apart and visually inspected, look for a burnt spot and it could possibly be fixed by replacing the blown component, or else the wholr PCB must be replaced
