I installed the Syba SD-V2-5U PCI to USB 2.0 card on my computer and only USB 1.1 works. I installed the correct drivers and tried many different things such as disabling the windows drivers and only installing the drivers for the card. I have moved the card to different PCI slots, only to have the same results. The card works because everything I plug in works, its just really slow. Thanks you for the help!

Have you tried moving the card to a different slot? The motherboard BIOS and/or the operating system may be trying to assign an interrupt that cannot be shared--especially if you have the card installed in the slot next to the video card (or shared with the onboard video).

I also have the some problem with my dell dimenison l600c.
O.S is windows XP.
Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this
I have the same problem with the card installed in a HP-520w. However, I noticed that the onboard USB ports are only running at USB v1.x as well and continue to do so even now that I've removed the board. I suspect a BIOS problem with my computer that is affecting both.
