Re: Maxtor External 100GB one touch II. Installed back in 2005. Because of software installation problem I called "800" number.My O.S. is XP. The Maxtor rep walked me through a change which told me to use 6.0 and not Express HD. I don't remember his correcting steps. My OS reinstall caused me to lose the altered software. I had to reinstall Maxtor without that change. Could I get a good software install CD for my Maxtor 100 GB Onetouch II ? Cost?

Ensure you are downloading the right version, this one is for Windows XP : Retrospect Express HD Update for Maxtor ...

Retrospect express does not work on Vista.

You can download the software from here:

Once downloaded save it on your hard drive and then burn it on a CD.
