Make sure you are using the paper that come under the specifications of the printer (102 x 153 mm (4 x 6 inches) for a Photo Paper). Though you are using the correct paper and you are getting the same message, then just set the paper type as "Plain" and try to print from the photo paper. It works in most of the cases

gud luck

Hp c6180 won't print from 4x6 photo paper tray

If you put regular paper in the tray as it is asking does the printer use the regular paper to print the picture? If so, be sure the 4x6 photo paper tray (with photo paper) is pushed all the way in, and when you select print there should be an option (probably hidden in a submenu) to select the photo tray as the paper source. If you are printing from Adobe Acrobat, I have not found a reliable way to get the c6180 to use the photo paper tray. I hope this helps.

No color in pictures

We had a similar problem and found out that we put in regular photo paper by mistake. You must use the paper that came with the cartridge because the printer dock uses a thermal heat to produce photos. After using that paper the photos were great.

Won't print on regular paper

My quess would be that printhead is becoming clogged, photos don't use as much ink as plain paper printouts that is why they look faded! You need to call Kodak tech support!

Pictures printed from computer are pale and faded

Are you using photo paper to print your pictures? If you print your photos on regular paper the ink on the photos can bleed or run together in the paper fibers. Try using paper made to print photos and see if that helps

Dull pictures ,new ink ,deep cleaning done ,ink heads cleaned

Are you using photo paper to print your photos? If you print photos using regular paper, the ink will spread out in the paper fibers of non photo paper and make the photos appear dull. I would try using paper made to print photos and see if that helps

HP psc 1300 printer

I had to turn off my computer, unplug the printer power cord and computer cord. I restarted the computer and pluged in both cords to the printer and it worked.

PHOTO paper

The HP printer was prepared to use HP's photo paper to print borderless pictures among other things.
If you use a third party photo paper, try using A4 size, position the picture in the paper using MS Word or another WYSIWYG program and, after printing, cut the picture in the right size.

Photo Printer

sina, Does the photo print good using photo paper? How regular of a paper? Do all other colors have ink? What program are you printing the photo from? Have you tried printing from a different program? Some programs send varying information to printers. If all of the above has been tried...uninstall the printer and download the newest drivers from EPSON and re-install the printer. Good luck Tim
