The phone was going on to call divert and i couldn't deactivate it so i replaced the sim but that didn't help,then i reformatted the phone but no change and i couldn't call or receive calls or texts but it still goes on the net. I phoned t-mobile who told me that my phone had been blocked and i couldn't do anything. Is that the case?

i don't think there is a way using the messaging app that comes with the phone, but there is a 3rd party app that will allow you to set a signature: handcent sms
one other nice thing, it's free! find it through the android market.

I don't think there is an actual clipboard that you can look at by default, but there are apps you can download from the Marketplace that will allow you to see what you have stored there. Just do a search for "clipboard" and try them out. I do not have a recommendation, as I do not have a clipboard app.

@cornyn. That's correct, but that's for email. OP means texting. There is no standard option for text (shame) search via apps. I'm looking for this solution too. 'Handcent SMS' may help?

To delete a thread of messages, do the following:
-go into the messaging app and click into the thread you want deleted
-hit the menu button
-hit delete
-you will get pop up box that says "The entire thread will be deleted"
-hit OK.
If you want to delete individual messages, you will need to long-hold down on the message you want deleted, and then hit "Delete message" from the command list.
