HP OfficeJet 6110 All-In-One InkJet Printer Logo
Debbie Stock Posted on Aug 10, 2006

Printer alignment I have a hp officejet 6110 all in one printer. We had a power failure and the printer would not come back on. I unplugged it from the wall and left it for 20 minutes or so, plugged it back in and...yes...power. It is prompting me to press enter to align cartridges. I have done so over & over yet the prompt remains...Help!

Had a smiliar problem-replaced the black ink cartridge and it keeps telling me that it is aligning the cartridge but is just pushing paper through the printer, then telling me it's out of paper when paper is there, and it's still not aligned!!

Same problem - working one day, then for no apparent reason (thinking I may have replaced one of the cardtridges) stops working. Get the align cardtridge thing over and over, then busy - tried the partial reset (plug in while holding down 3 and the # keys). Then full reset (plug in while holding the Enter and Cancel keys. Still broken at this point.

Same issue as above. Switched to a different black cartridge, but still get the press enter to align message. If I press Enter again, it says busy. ???

Before turning the power off, please press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to try and do a reset. Then, power off, unplug the printer from both the printer and the power supply. Turn off the computer. The wait about 10 minutes, plug the printer back in to the power, then into the computer. Then start up the computer and see if the reset helped solve the problem.
You may have a hardware problem however. We will see what happens after the reset.

Changed cartridges, printer doesn't align or function

Something seems to be physically wrong in the mechanism.

Try the rolling wheels and the belt on which the cartridges run.

Hp officejet 6110

If machine does not print the colors it cannot align. Try changing the color and try again

Alignment test keeps failing How di I override?

press the cancel button after you on the printer and wait a movement till the cartridges adjust and settle inside.

Every power up requires set up

theres usually a small battery on these mfp machines which is soldered onto the formatter board, this would need replacing. Bes is don't turn the machine off.
