Panasonic DMC-Z28 - the flash button does not call up a flash setting menu and so the flash won't turn on.

  • Anonymous Feb 22, 2012

Several people have said check burst. When burst off, still no flash. Also, if select flash burst , I get a message ti open flash-when it is already open.

  • Anonymous Feb 29, 2012

I stumbled onto the solution! The flash door was not opening completely, so with a little wiggling of the door it works. Thanks for the good suggestions. I will probably have to use these good ideas in the future.

SOURCE: Panasonic lumix DMC-ZS1 - won't record video

It might be telling you that the card you have in the camera isn't fast enough to keep up with the demands of a video recording. You need to buy a more expensive card with a faster speed rating.

How do I defeat the flash on a Panasonic DMC-TZ3?

In the Flash menu, there is an option for Forced Flash Off. Press the Flash button to the right of the Menu button. Then use the up down arrows to move to this option. (It's at the bottom of the list.) Then press Menu to set the option to the Flash Off. This is shown on page 36 of the manual for the DMC-TZ3. I found a copy of the manual here: http://panasonic.ae/en/manuals/DMC-TZ3.pdf .

Your pictures may have exposure or blurring issues in this mode. The shutter will stay open longer to attempt to gather enough light.

I hope this helps.

How to turn the flash off DMC-TZ1 camera?

On the menu set button at the bottom right at the back of the camera, if you press the right hand side of this you can change the way the flash operates from auto, auto/red-eye reduction, forced on... and the final one would be forced off. You can download the manual from http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_GB/Support/Downloads/220239/index.html#anker_222458 enter DMC-TZ1 into the enter model box and then download the operating instructions and on page 40 it will show you how to do it.

Camera Frozen

Hi,

I tried Option No.1 successfully when my Panasonic DMC-FZ7K froze once:

Option No1:

1. Try turning the camera on with the battery inserted.

2. Now remove the battery while the camera is on.

3. Flip the switch on the camera to off, then insert a fully charged battery. (Make sure that the battery's orientation is correct. Also make sure that the battery being used is not damaged).

4. Now flip the camera's switch to ON again.
------------------------------------------------------------
Option No. 2:

If you can open the Setup menu then the camera can be reset which might help:

Turn on the camera.

1. Press MENU SET.

2. Press the left arrow button.

3. Press the down arrow button.

4. Press the right arrow button.

5. Now, press the up arrow button several times until the menu item named RESET is highlighted. Push the right arrow button and then select and set YES when the camera asks to be reset.
