Hi, I have a Samsung CLP-620ND color laser printer but I failed to find an ICC profile for it. Photos print too dark and hues are not quite right. I've tried to adjust the color settings in the driver but to no avail. Does anyone have an icc/icm file and care to share it? I know icc profiles are paper- and toner-dependent but it would still be better than the generic sRGB profile. Tnanx.
Dear
Pl. down load and install the samsung easy color manager and install it. Here you can control the color setting.

Thanks.

I suggest you download the latest version of the print drivers, uninstall the old ones first. Also, check to see if your program has any updates. Does it do it on other programs as well?
If so, there is a driver issue not properly talking to Vista.
If it works on other programsl, its related to the program itself.
thanks adi

I found a profile that works for me. Wish I knew where it came from (some open-source printer-driver project); by the time I figured out how to use it properly, I forgot where I found it.
Unzip it and copy it to [user folder]/library/colorsync/profiles/
When you print, go to "Color Matching" in the pull-down menu and select that profile.
Then go to "paper" in that pull-down menu and select "glossy photo 160g/m2". This profile looks horrible if you try to set it to plain paper (you can cheat and actually use plain paper, you just have to lie to the printer that you're using glossy).

I have just purchased a CLP 325 and have set it up to get excellent colour pictures using Adobe Photoshop and the icc profiles readily available.
Your current working icc profile could be either Adobe RGB (1998), sRGB, Profoto or another. I would suggest that for everyday work use sRGB, if you are a specialist use Adobe RGB (1998).
Firstly make these changes in Photoshop:
Edit / Assign Profile / ColourMatch RGB.
To print:
File / Print / printer profile should be Adobe RGB (1998)

If someone had a profile for the CLP-670, it might work too.
