I need ink roller replacement for Sharp EL-1801V calculator...help!

Had the same problem. The tape does not feed through the top of the machine but instead through the slot at the back of the machine. It looks odd, but that is where it goes.

The manual for 1801v is not distributed from Sharp anymore.
You can download the manual for EL-1801PIII Operation Manual (240K) , It is the same model with some cosmetic difference.

Push the button at the top over from GT to SET.
type the date in using the decimal as a spacer.
Then press the date/time key.

for the time...
Press the date/time key until the date shows,
then enter the time in military time and press the date/time key again.

To change the date, enter the date in MM.DD.YY format, pressing the decimal key between the month and day (will show as a decimal on the display) and the day and year (will show as a dash on the display). Then, press the Time/Date key (the one that looks like a clock and a calendar). The new date will show on the display. Note that if the month is less than 10, you do need to press the 0 (zero) key for the first digit, even though it will not show on the display. To change the time, enter the time in 24-hour HH.MM format, pressing the decimal key between the hour and minute. Then, press the Time/Date key. The new time will show on the display.
