Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

V3 cuts out & no signal

I have a V3 GSM it has signal but cuts out randomly - it's not the service provider becuase other phone works fine. Problem with the receiver how would I fix this please?Thanks for any help

    screen cuts out cant get calls messages.have to turn off restart cell phone to get screen etc.U have an answer for this???

How do start my 3g services by using gsm


GSM phones use SIM cards, so you will need to pick a service provider (AT&T, T-Mobile, Simple, etc) first. Obtain a SIM card from them, insert it into your phone, and your service will begin. HW6915 GSM losing signal


you have paid in full phone service, for GSM?
if yes name it>? seems other want it bet is not available.
if skype , you need internet for that. not phone side.
wifi , Wi-Fi 802.11b (use this in your home? at your wifi router?)
we use skype, via wifi at home and g4 on to move. (not free latter)


the PHONE side needs a service provider
or is useless, as a brick
call your local service providers yet, for GSM phone service
i bet most will decline you, (not a smart phone)
I read even when this phone had service, internet use was greatly limited,,
why not get a used smart phone and update.

I am in a different country, my RAZR does not function w networks


It depends on the country you are in.... some providers are widely supported in one country, whereas in another country that might not be the same case...

.... what network signals are supported in your area?... Your phone is a gsm or quadband phone.. you probably don't have gsm service in your area, but rather CDMA.... which does not work on your particular phone. you must buy a cdma phone... (some phones are multiple-network compatible). Just shop around.

Also 3g networks in europe don't normally work on USA 3g enabled phones.... and vice-versa.

Have you contacted your service provider? You'll need to make sure that you have the correct APN information on your phone for your internet to work, depending on your service provider... the two terms differ when you change networks, CDMA or GSM.

Motorola razr v3 not catching signal


Have you used the external antenna port? If this is damaged it renders phone useless. Somehow connected to main antenna.

Razr V3 - Outbound Calls fail


sounds like a signal problem check the bars of signal on your phn might be the antena try placeing your sim into one of the other razers and see if call goes through and let your service provider know they can send all info to phn like a new activation might be a issue where you cant connect to a tower if thats the case youll need to talk to your service providers tech department and have them check for the lrn easy way to see call your phn and see if you get dead air or fast busy signal
