I took the cover off. Moved the lense to the outer edge with my finger. Then rubbed the lense with a q-tip soaked in eye drop fluid (rubbing alcohol would work better). Then wiped it with the dry end. Works greats now!

Re: TROUBLE WITH KLH DVD-8350 PLAYER
Need more info, but did you try with another movie dvd? have you clean it with a cleaner dvd, blow some dry air by the port of the tray when it is open(could by a can in radio shack), if everything dosent funcion, then, you need a tech, the disc is not runing or the reading sistem has damage...good luck
Despite the fact that there is a warenty invalid if broken sticker on the back, I opened mine up anyway. I thoroughly cleaned with can air. Later noticed that the track that holds the motor that makes the disc spin wasn't moving. It suspose but it wasn't so I gently nudged it to the right, popped in a disc and it worked fine. My problem is I got up and I tried to move it off my lap and place it back on the stand stumbled and dropped the player. So after it dangled from the cord and smashed into the entertainment center it won't come on at all now, but it did work prior to my clumsiness.

Tries websites like Amazon.com,Ebay.com buy a set that call a DVD or CD disc laser eye cleaner.Used it might help.If still happening than the laser eye itself it is dying and to be dead soon.DVD players that are having laser eyes are dying or don't read DVD or CD disc like say no disc all the time. Are not repairable except replaced the whole laser eye data's reader itself not practical, because u can a whole new basic DVD player just the same prices or even cheaper. These day a basic DVD players u can buy it like $40 brand new at any major box retailers stores like Walmart,Target..extra.
I had the exact same problem. When I finally opened the top there was another disk already in there. I guess if the unit shuts off and you leave aa disk in it will stay in the player even though when you open the door to place another disk in the tray will be empty. All you have to do is unscrew the cover aand then you will see a crossbar held in with two screws where the disks are. unscrew them and take out the two disks thay are stuck togeather. Replace eveything and rescrew and enjoy the movie!! Hope this helps!
i sent mine back for this same reason they repared it damaging it and scratching it in the process. it was the optical senser they said (this means the lazer in the dvd player. SAeems everyone that buys this **** has this trouble. I am getting a lawyer and will demand my money back....
I can't say 100% but it sounds similar to the problem I had with the same model . The sleep mode in the on/off switch had gone bad and a new switch fixed the problem. It was about $42 to rtepair at my local electronics repair shop. Hope this helps.
Well I have been repairing dvd players a while now and the main problem spots are laser ,spindle motor, laser tracking motor and the biggest culprit and un suspecting one the lens cable .....most of them range from the lens cable to the spindle motor though... the constant movement of the lens in watching a whole movie causes the cable to unknowingly and slowly break and if the spindle motor is defective ,on inserting a dvd the disc spins slowly and you may hear the lens chirping ... so you can check those....
