My 7610 is trying to send dubious picture messages to numbers I don't recognise. Some fail, some succeed; failed ones are automatically deferred when I delete from the out box. How can I get rid of this virus?

First check Message setting > message center number + Should be text. In message center number don't forget to prefix +91.................. .If not solved contact sim card service provider.Good luck
When you send the message the error "message failed check detail" for this problem you have to check your message center number, if you don't have the message center number then call to your service provider and get the message center. then go the Message setting and set you message center number and then try to send you message, your problem is solve.
Hi, You can not send messages because the message centre number stored in your mobile may be wrong. Please enter the correct message centre number. To get the correct message centre number please call your service provider and they will provide you the number. Menu > Messaging >Options >Settings >Text message >Message centres Thank You
Generally if the phone is giving a "cannot send" or "message failed" error message then there is something wrong with the "switch" In order to fix this you need to contact your providers tech support and they should be able to fix the issue...
You can also try sending the picture to your own number... sometimes that will help push it through the switch...
Also make sure that you are using the area code of the numbers that you are sending it to...
Alltel for example, will not let the message go through if the area code is not inserted
Your solution depends on if system remain always in error status or it become usual after error message. First you should do hard formatting by removing sim and mmc then pressing four keys i.e. *,3,green send key and power switch simenteniously. Phone will get formatted and problem will be solved. If it doesn't work then we can say that there must be system file error. It can be resolved only by special tools like JAF or UFS.
