Washing machine tips
Unplug your washing machine before you do anything. Since you are cleaning your washing machine, you might as well go all out and clean the front, top and sides with the spray cleaner. Clean under the lid and all the surfaces just inside the washer with the spray cleaner. Set the machine to the hot water and largest load settings. Once the machine is full, add the lemon or lime juice if you have rust problems or add the vinegar if you have odor problems. If you have both, do one "load" of each. Let the washer finish the cycle. If you are satisfied with the stain/odor removal, run another cycle on hot at the largest load setting without adding anything to the water.

Lid is not locking properly, washer sensor is overfilling, and the washer wont spin

Check door switch: If the lid switch is bad it will not drain or spin. Try this test: With lid open let it finish wash cycle. Press lid switch down with screwdriver. Washer should begin draining. Release switch. Motor should stop. Press switch a second time. Washer should start spinning as it continues to drain. If motor doesn't come on while lid switch is pressed, replace the switch. OR

Indesit W1A111 starts cycle when selector set to "off"

many indesits have a memory on board, set the timer to off position, turn on the mains press start let the machine finish what it is doing, and it will reset normally, turn off at mains for a few minutes can also do the trick, it sounds like one of the option buttons was pressed and you didn't let the timer finish its course,
