Our frigidaire range oven is not able to hold temp...if I set it to 350 it may go as high as 550...but it doesn't always rise that high but it never goes to the temp set or stay at it.

Hi

This means a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Oven temperature off

If you have a ohm meter you can ohm out the temp sensor. It has a harness that connects in the back. Unplug it and it should read around 1100 ohms at room temp. It sounds to me more like the ignitor itself. It has to draw so many amps to open up the gas valve. Check the sensor first. If it ohms out, change the ignitor. I think your problem will go away. When we cook in the oven it says F2 every 10 mins.

This means that your oven temp sensor has failed. There is no way to fix the sensor. You have to replace. The f2 means that your oven has reached its heaeting limit and it shuts down for safety. Replace oven temp sensor and it wil fix it.
