.965 are the correct eyepieces for the CC-JR, CC-JRME, CC-JRs and CC-JRMs.

The plastic part that the eye pieces fit into is broken is there a way to get a replacement part for it?

First it's only a plastic part because of the telescope you bought. Usually a diagonal is all metal.

Many companies sell diagonals they come ion 3 sizes .965, 1.25, and 2 inch sizes. Measure the hole in the back of the telescope and buy the correct size.

Here are two retailers:

I cannot see anything when I look into the lens, and yes the lens cap is off. It is the Galileo CC 872.

This is a very simple refractor telescope. Put the diagonal into the focuser and then put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the diagonal.

Take the scope outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object. DO NOT USE the 2x barlow if you have one.

At night the moon should be your first target. Read my tips on my profile page. Objects in the night sky are smaller than the tip of your finger held at arm's length. The scope must be pointed DIRECTLY at them to see anything.

Looking for an eyepiece for a galileo fs-125dx

Eyepieces come in 3 sizes .965, 1.25, and 2 inch. The most common is 1.25 inch. Measure the hold.

You can buy eyepieces from many online retailers. Here are two.

How to focus in on an object

First use the eyepiece with the LARGEST number written on it. This is your lowest magnification.

Then center the object in the telescope eyepiece, and without moving the telescope CENTER the crosshairs or the red finder dot on the target.

Why cant I see a planet on a cc-jrs telescope

What eyepiece size are you using and what planet are you targeting? Jupiter is usually a good starter after you've practiced on the moon.
