reset you screen adjust (zoom select )change your picture size

SOURCE: LG RU-42PX10C Plasma TV picture had colored lines & went black...

This will be your Y SUSTAIN board on the left hand side when you take the back off.
Plenty available on ebay, Very easy fix

when I turned it on this morning the screen had multicolored lines

You can either use test equipment etc or start guessing----most likely board would be main board that controls screen and all information viewed there.
