Dryer won't come on. Wire block burned. Wires test good. Heating coil lookes burned

A good heating element should have continuity. When the heating element breaks, there is no continuity between the heater terminals. But sometimes, the broken ends of the heating element can make contact with the metal heater housing (from vibration) and draw a large current, causing the symptoms you have described.

To confirm a "short" between the heating element and the heater housing, check for continuity between the housing and each heater terminal. (The shorted part of the heating element is usually welded to the housing.) Occasionally, the short will not be welded, but a visual inspection will verify (welding scars and black soot) that a short has occurred, intermittantly.

Replace the terminal block, heater, damaged internal wiring, and possibly the thermal fuse, thermostats, and power cord.

Good luck

Started drying load, dryer shut off. won't turn on. checked door, changed thermal fuse, checked breaker. still doesn't work. light also not on.

If this is an electric dryer, you may have lost half of the power supply to it. Unplug and remove the little cover plate above where the power cord enters the dryer. Look at the 3 screws holding on the power cord for burned/black looking or loose connections. If nothing wrong there, shut off house breaker and remove cover on house plug where you plug the dryer into and look for same type of issues.

How to Replace Little Giant Water Wizard Utility Pump Power Cord

Yes, If it goes together it will come apart. If it is the one I'm thinking of if you take the base apart there will be through bolts that run through the whole pump, remove these I want to think there are some that are short and these hold the base to the motor but they may be behind the impeller. Be warey as I'm not sure. But once the through bolts are out you should be able to carefully remove the top. Some have very frail gaskets here so be gentel. Once you have the top free there will be a compression nut holding the cord before pulling cord through use a light sand paper to clean the cord so the part you pull through will be fresh enough to seal. Don't lube the cord this will keep it from sealing. Pull it hrough and make your repair and put it back together the way it came apart. Use a sharpie to mark the top and housing as you take it apart. When finished loop some cord through pump handel and tie it off so this takes the weight in the future to keep from having the same problem again. good luck

Frigidaire electric range fef336 heating elements not heating

Range does not heat (lights and timer do not operate).
This would indicate the range is not receiving the required 220 volts. Check house hold breakers or fuses, open wiring between the terminal block and the components, and the power cord.

Electric stove top and oven

hi
if neither the cooktop nor the oven works check your voltage. Is there 240 volts to the unit. Flip the breaker off and back on. If that doesn't work, with the unit unplugged, remove the cover where the stove cord is connected and check the connections
Good Luck!!!

Totally lost power to HP 7110

Don't Worry the HP printer are deisgned to connect without the surg protector.

Try the steps mentioned bellow

Unplug the power cord from the All-In-One as well as the power outlet when there is still power in the All-In-One. and wait for atleast 1Min
Plug the power cord directly to a wall outlet without surg protector. (if possible connect it to a different power outlet)
Before connecting the power cord to the All-In-One press and hold the # and no 6 button and then insert the power cord, do not release the keys
until you see a message a reset (if the screen goes blank then release the keys and turn the power on)

If This does not work in the power cord you will see a rectangle box like thing thats a apdptor, after plugging it to the power oulet for a couple of minitues, check and see if you can feel any heat in the adaptor if yes then the adaptor is good the power cord may be bad, so accordingly replce the power cord or adaptor:
