Question about RCA F27676BC TV

No Video I was given this TV and I don't have a owners manual or a remote for it. I am trying to hook up my DVD player, but I can't figure out how to get the TV into video mode. I have gone through the menu and didn't see it there. I put the TV on channel 3 and played a DVD and the screen didn't change at all. We do not have cable on this TV. We do have an antennae (rabbit ears) so we can get a couple of local channels. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

We have the original remote and when we push the input button on the remote the screen just flashes and goes back to the original picture. We have a the DVD plugged in through the input port on the front of the TV (the only one). Any suggestions?

From the manual (search Google for CM27101S): Normally, your TV displays the signal coming through the antenna terminal. However, If you?ve connected another component to your TV(such as a VCR) using the Video/Audio input, you will want to be able to view the signal from the component. To do this, you will need to switch from the ? TV ? input to the ? Line1, Line2 ? Input, as follows: 1 With the TV on, press the MENU button twice, then ? Set-Up ? menu will appear. 2 Use the WCHVbuttons to select ? Input ?. 3 Press the CVOLB buttons to change from ? TV ? to ? Line1, Line 2 ?. 4 Wait 10 seconds, or press the MENU button to return to normal TV viewing.

The RCA support web site has the manual in PDF format at the following URL
http://support.rca.com/doc/rca1547.xml?docid=885&Referring%20DocID%20List%20Index=4&navtypeid=6&pagetypeid=2&prevPageIndex=8&selectedmodel=MM36100&selectedFamily=generic

also, almost any RCA brand universal remote should have no problem operating this set.
You need to enable the rear inputs via the menu and then they'll be available via the Input button or between channels 2 and the highest channel programmed.

I have several remote controls around the house that I collected over the years. I used the remote that came with my receiver on my main system. I found a number code that allows me to use that remote to switch the video mode. It took a while to find the right number on the right remote controller, but I found it. Now I can change the video mode without having the original remote control to the Sanyo 27 inch TV.

Hope this helps you.

Go to Channel 2 then press channel down. Will see Front (meaning front inputs) Input 2 Input 1 What ever channel your dvd is in will show. Red = Audio Right White = Audio Left Yellow = Video Note: Some DVD have colour stream which may show as Pb Y and Pr. To make it easier recommend used the composite inputs R-W-Y and just match colours. DVD will always be an output (unless dvd recorder) and tv must be on Input. Always Output to Input. Hope this helps James

I have this TV, and if you do really have model KV-32FS120 then you should have a TV/Video button behind the front panel door, where the volume and channel buttons are. It is the leftmost button. If you don't have this, you must have a different model number. If it doesn't work, then that's a different story altogether.

Press the menu button twice, go down to Source, and you can switch between antenna/cable, front video, and rear video.

On an rca TV usually the video inputs are switched by an original remote or at the end of the channel line-up. To program all the channels you are going to need the original remote. Go to http://www.remotes.com Good Luck

Cannot get the tv into 'video1' (or ' video2') mode

Unfortunately you need the original remote. There is still a good chance you can find a Sanyo universal remote. Check your local Circuit city or Super K mart or Walmart and look inthe electronics sections. I have often seen the Sanyo universal remote! And yes it will have the options you are looking for. Good Luck!

Mintek DVD-1600 Setup to cable box/tv

A dvd player that doesn't record hooks straight to the television, not the cable box. Tv's typically have av jacks. If yours doesn't, you will need to buy an rf modulator. If your tv has the jacks, U will need to use your tv remote and hit tv video or input or source on that tv remote to switch between input and tv modes.

I just Cant figure out how to hook this DVD Video Player to my TV

You must give a clearer explanation of the type of television you are using and the type of cables you are using in the hook-up. You should give the television name and model number. The type of connections you are trying to use. What the problem is.Is a conflict between the remotes or just a user problem. You should find all reasonable hook-up information for you television in the owners manual. The same goes for the dvd player. Hope this helps you with your problem.

Can't play dvd player on JVC tv; I don't have a JVC remote.

I hooked up a Pioneer DVD player to my TV and when I play a DVD the volume cannot be controlled by the TV. It just plays at one level and on the louder side. When I'm watching regular TV and the DVD player is on and playing a disc I start to hear the DVD soundtrack at the same time as the whatever I'm watching on TV. I should not be able to hear anything until I switch over to Video 1. Any suggestions?

Hook ups

use a video splitter for the audio and video, or go out of the DVD player in to the DVR, out of the DVR into the TV (WARNING!!!! Trying to hook a DVD player to any recording device may trigger the copyright protection, causing blue flashes, and distorted pictures)

KS3102 Koss DVD player hookup to Toshiba how??

I have an owner's manual for that system and would be glad to copy the diagrams for you. Additionally, I think that you need red, blue and green wires from the back of the Koss to the inputs on the TV.

DVD player not showing on tv

I'm not sure, but, if you use the channel down button on the television, the set may go to the video inputs. If not a local retailer should have an inexpensive universal remote that would work on this set and have an input or tv/video button. If you use a cable box, the remote can be programed also. If you need more help, reply to this post and I can come up with more solutions when I get to my shop next week.
