How to make the screen on a laptop bigger

What do you mean by the "screen" ... "bigger" ?
If you're referring to the window size for an application, simply stretch/enlarge it using your mouse - place cursor on the edge of the window (see the double bar arrow icon) or at the bottom right corner of the window, hold down the right mouse button and drag it outwards (to enlarge it).

The screen on my dell 2200 has flipped 90 degrees after my cat stepped on the keypad, how do i rectify this, back to normal.?

I have an Nvidia card on my laptop and I right click on a blank area of the screen and scroll down to Nvidia control center. Once that window comes up, there is a setting in the left pane that refers to display orientation. Ati has similar options for their cards.

Webcam not wrking

It sounds like the camera may need to be reseated on the motherboard. Could be a loose connection with the cable. You will need to get the keyboard and power strip off and access the cable from there. The cable runs from the right side of the display across the palmrest to the center lower part of the motherboard and plugs into a small flat socket. To get the power strip off, remove the battery, next...there are several screws you will see, all of those screw need to be removed, there may be 5-6. Now take the access cover off the memory/wireless compartment. There is a screw inside a tube marked with a keyboard symbol, this screw has to come out. Now turn the laptop over and pry the right side of the power strip up gently, just position it forward toward the screen just enough for the keyboard to flip up. Now shift the keyboard toward the screen so that the hold down tabs at the lower part clear the palrest. Now under the keyboard is the flat socket holding the keyboard cable, push the retaining tabs on both sides of the socket toward the screen, this releases the cable. Lift the keyboard free. Youcan leave the power strip where it is, it does not to be removed. Now look to the right side of the display at the right hinge. The flat cable is the camera cable, it is usually bundled next to the two wireless antennae leads. Follow the flat cable down to where it plugs into the motherboard. Pull the plug out and give the socket a blow of air to clean dust and debris. Now plug the cable back in and make sure it seats well. Put everything back together, go to HP and make sure you download the "Cyberlink" Youcan software drivers and the camera should work fine.

The transparent film strip has fallen of where does it attach to on the canon pixma mp460

The strip needs to be clean, there is an arrow on one end, needs to point up on the left side. Behind the carriage unit is a small slot that the strip passes through, a silver spring on the left to hook through the hole on the strip, and a solid metal tab on the right to hook the other hole to. It's not as easy as it sounds, especially with all the covers on...

Picture not centered on my philips 47'' lcd tv

NOTE:(Edited and copied from another thread on Fixya.com, c7carl)

Picture is not centered on monitor leaving a 2 1/2 inch; black border on Philips LCD
By dmorrow54 on Nov 13, 2007
Again, nothing in manual for Philips LCD will correct the fact that the picture in HD-D mode will not center. The picture runs off the monitor on the left (facing the monitor) with a 2 1/2" black border on the right (facing the monitor). Using the format button on the remote of directional arrows will not correct the issue. The wide-screen/ full-screen function with format does nothing. Moving into TV mode, the format function works to display screen in several ways 4:3, 19:2, super-zoom, wide-screen, full-screen. Help, please. posted 3 years ago

I have a Philips 30 inch LCD and solved the problem by using the circular arrow button on the TV remote. Pointing it at the TV and clicking "right" (3 o'clock on the button), the picture moved right. Same thing on for "left". Worked for me.

WOW! It works!! The picture on my Magnavox (aka Philips) 37MF321D had shifted to the right. I figured I had a big repair bill coming up soon. But hey! Just used the TV remote as described by "Guest', and re-centered the picture to the left. Wallah! Thanks ""Guest" whomever you are! Reply

Decending view of unread messages

Above the message dates is a bar that says "date". Click it and then press the tiny arrow button until the arrow points downward. As for the ads, you can't get rid of them, unless you get the paid service. :-)
