Is there anybody out there that can help with my JVC AV-32FA44 32".
Here's the problem.
The green power light turns on. The sound comes on. But there is nothing on the screen. It's absoultely dead. Is there any reason for this?
I was out for a day and left it on. I came back and it was off. There werent any electrical storms, power failures or anything I could think of that could cause this.
I unplugged the power and cable wires for over an hour re-plugged and still nothing.
I bought it over a year ago, so I'm sure the warranty is over. Or is it?
Please help. I am the furthest thing from a TV technician.
Or should I just call one?

You could have a power supply problem as parts do go bad. Why your set faile is a mystery.. Of course if your not a technician, a TV set is NO place to be experimenting with. It only about a year old you say But get the papers on this set if you can find them and make sure as there is a 12 month warranty on this model. You should contact JVC At 1-800-252-5722 or online at http://www.jvc.com/support/. Good Luck

you have to get into the tv to do the adjustment. take the cover off and then look for the CRT tube and follow the yoke cables that will lead you to the printed circuit. you should see some small tiny knobs there. something like vertical phase or horizantl Phase..you need the verital to adjust the vertical size of the pic..good luck
