I have a Panansonic DVD/VCR combo(Model No PV-D4744S). It was working ok , but recently whenever a dvd-r format dic is inerted itr take sometime to read and it displays the message " THIS TYPE OF DISC CANNOT BE PLAYED . PLEASE INERT A DIFFERENT DISC". I like to have a solution for this
Have you use a dvd-r format before? somes dvd dosent run in that format, but if yes then dont spend too much money in it becouses is a low cost one, try cleaning it with a cleaning cd, if is a bad chip(Ic) or the reading unit any way wll cost you a lot to repair and thats no bussines....good luck
