You need to send it into Casio's repair center to have that fixed. I don't believe they will just send you that part. Call the repairs center at 800-706-2534 and then keep choosing option 1. Tell them what's going on and that you would like to send it in for repairs. If they ask just lie and tell them you already talked to tech support. LOL

How do you remove the battery from a Kodak Pixpro AZ528?

To remove the battery from your Kodak Pixpro AZ528 camera, follow these steps:
  1. Turn off the camera and remove any cords or cables that are attached to it.
  2. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera. It is typically marked with a battery icon.
  3. Slide the battery compartment cover open. It may be held in place with a small latch or tab that you will need to release before you can open the cover.
  4. Carefully remove the battery from the battery compartment. It may be held in place by a small latch or spring. Be sure to grip the battery firmly to avoid dropping it.
  5. Close the battery compartment cover and make sure it is securely latched.
If you have any trouble removing the battery or if the battery compartment cover is stuck, you may want to consult the Kodak Pixpro AZ528 user manual for more detailed instructions.

I dropped my Nikon D60 and now it does not power on I would like to know why???

There are several possible reasons. One is indeed the battery. If the camera powers on with a different battery pack then that would point rather conclusively at the battery.
Another possibility is that the drop damaged or broke the battery contacts inside the camera. Another is that the drop damaged or broke something else inside the camera.
First, try another battery pack. If you don't have one, go to a Nikon dealer and ask to try one. If the camera powers on with that, then buy a new battery and dispose of the old one. If the camera doesn't power on, then you'll have to have the camera serviced.

Haven't used my Canon rebel xt for awhile but tried today and it will not turn on. Purchased new CR2016 battery and fully charged the other battery. Has not been dropped or misused. Please help

Aposta,

It is possible if you haven't used the camera for a while that the contacts inside the battery compartment need to be cleaned. This can be done with a q-tip and some alcohol.

Thank you.

Easyshare M1093 is wont stay open

If the camera has recently been dropped you may have lens damage that is preventing it from powering up. If it hasn't been dropped your problem may be due to corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera and give them a full charge (assuming that you are using rechargeable batteries). This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, the camera may have a problem that requires professional repair.

Camera won't power up

You might try cleaning the battery compartment of the camera to make sure that the contacts are not corroded.

Sony Cyber-Shot Battery Compartment Door Broken

I'm having the same problem with my DSC-W1 camera. I dropped my camera and the battery door latches broke.
I found a replacement door on Ebay for $9.95
I followed the instructions in the description and easily removed the broken door from my camera. Now i'm just waiting on the new door to arrive so I could slide the new door in.
I hope this was helpful.

Here's the seller I bought the door from. Hopefully the seller has more doors. =) :

After one frame battery icon flashes ( battery is full charged)

The problem is with the electric contacts between the battery and the camera. You can try cleaning them with a clean pencil eraser. Make sure you don't leave any eraser debris in the battery compartment. It is best to do this while holding the camera so that the battery compartment door is "down" so that any eraser debris will fall out of the door onto the table rather than fall into the compartment.

Camera was dropped and is not on

Take batteries out and have them checked, and make sure they are fully charged. Take a pencil eraser and clean/polish the contacts at base of the battery compartment Take a look at the battery-comp cover place and make sure the contact plate is firm replace batteries switch on OK No? Open the battery compartment, place a piece of foil across the batteries and shut it - turn on -OK No? Press the cover in OK No? Them it has broken beyond your reach and needs repair or replacement
