Printer shows i document printing then I cancel and it shows deleting but stays on as deleting. Even if I have unblocked any previous document the next document I want to print still blocks it. I have had this problem for nearly 2 weeks now - switching both laptop and printer off many times and have bought 3 new ink cartridges as I read elsewhere it could be a dry cartridge.

Try to unplug the power adapter from the printer.
Wait at least 10 seconds before replugging the adapter to the printer. This will give enough time for the printer to reset itself. Also, make sure the power cord is plugged in straight to the power outlet in the wall, bypass any power surge devices.
If the problem continues, it could be a faulty power adapter issue. Please contact Lexmark technical support for additonal assistance.
1. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET STOP SPOOLER (this will stop the
print spooler service)
2. Browse to your windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\
folder. You should see files there ending in .SPL and .SHD created around the
time you tried to print - delete these files.
3. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET START SPOOLER (this will restart the
print spooler service)
Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
