Broken LCD LCD is broken on the inside. How do I replace it? Camera still works but can't see what I am taking a picture of

there is a broken part inside the lens. This is pretty complex to replace so my suggestion is to buy a used one off of eBay. sometimes you can find the same model camera on tehre with a broken lcd display and pick it up really cheap

Water and LCD screens don't mix. I'd say the screen itself is shot, and will need to be replaced. However, I cannot find anyone selling these parts. Your best bet may be to watch for a broken one on eBay - so long as it's not the LCD that's broken, and buy it for parts.

As has been explained many times, dropping a camera damages it. Damaged cameras do not work. They are what is technically known as 'broken'. You will have to get it repaired.

You cannot replace it, you can raplace intere zoom. The problem is frequently on this type of camera and direct connected with camera frequent use. The fixed and automatic diaphragm do not work bacause broken flet is broken and the sensor is receiving too mach light. Take the camera, switch it on then light with a flashlight the lens, you see a diaphragm movement or hear a click on the lens, if not the flat wire is broken (means microcut inside flat invisible without a magnifying glass). Most time same problem is present with no image on the screen because diaphragm is completelly closed.

You may be able to fix it yourself if you can find a replacement screen. I usually search ebay for a broken camera with other problems that I can cannibalize. Here's some examples on LCD replacement. Don't recommend that you try this yourself, unless you have at least some experience with electronics.

Otherwise, the cost of professional repair may be close to or beyond the value of the camera. A better option is to sell the camera on ebay for other repair hobbyists to attempt replacing the screen for themselves. You actually may get a good price for the camera IF it's still capable of taking pictures.

you should replace the lcd screen from an authorized service center. or you can buy the lcd screen alone from ebay and find someone to replace it .remember
