Since water doesn't drain out ,it could be a clogged in the drain line. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. You should remove this line and clear it form any debris in the hose or the hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again. It could be as well a defective or a malfunction pump. Let me know if you will need for further assistance. Good luck!

Hi we moved to a new flat with a kuppersbursbuch iwt 1259.2w washer. we cleaned the filter and put in a dettol detergent to clean it-since then it pauses mid-cycle and does not pump out the water

It is doubtful cleaning the filter and using Dettol will have caused any problems.

I believe it was quite common to have a programme where the washer stopped mid-rinse before pumping out the water in order to reduce creasing of the clothes. The programmer would be advanced when it was convenient to do so and the rinse cycle would continue and finish with the final spin.

I suggest you read the instruction manual before deciding whether there is a fault or not...

Water was not pumped away, cleaned everything, but power is off and cannot switch the dishwasser on again

Hello when you stated water is not pumped away and that you cleaned everything and now the power is off did you check the float switch in the unit? If the water was not pumped out of the dishwasher then either you have a clog in the drain line either where it goes into your disposal or sink area or in the drain line, or the pumps impellar is not spining or something is cloged in the pump stopping the impellar from moveing. I would first look at the float switch in the unit this is a small switch that tells the unit to either add water and start your cycle or drain water and finish the cycle. I will await your reply as to you finds before diagnosing further. Thank you

I need a user's manual for SGS5302 bosch dishwasher. Otherwise would you tell me exactly how the aquastop works? Is there any method to bridge it? What goes on the wires? Signals from or to the...

Please rate this solution if you find it helpful. Thanks!

The Aqua-Stop function is a flood protection feature. You really don't want to be "bridging it"!

It works by using a float switch to detect when the water level gets too high in the wash compartment. It over-rides any wash programme and starts the pump to empty the water out.

Also if water leaks into the bottom of the dishwasher (under the washing compartment) the float will rise with the water level and when it reaches a critical point, it will over-ride any washing programme and run the pump.

However, the pump cannot remove water from under the washing compartment, but as it over-rides the wash programme, it prevents the washer from continuing with any wash cycle, thus preventing any more water from leaking into the bottom of the washer and flooding your house.

For this reason, you should never attempt to "bridge" (whatever that means) modify or disable the aqua-stop feature. If it's been activated, you have a problem which needs to be resolved before you continue to use the washer.

I have a candy cdi 3515 and after about 1/2 an hour into the programme it stops and a continuous alarm bleeping starts.

Is there water in the dishwasher when it stops?
Are you able to check if the water is normal temperature or warm/ hot?

Can you try the dishwasher in a short cycle and see if it completes the cycle?

When we have finished the cycle there is water in the bottom of the machine, checked the filter this is clear opened the pipe work seems clear

its not uncommon to have water at the end of the programme providing the results are ok dont worry. most of the water is the drying steam condensing and running back to the sump. the dishwasher pumps this out at the begining of the next prog.

Ariston LS 2020 taking more than two hours to go through cycle.

Ariston and on and on...lol

The water temp thermostat is to blame or the water is not heating.Basically what happens is the washer fills with cold water and starts to wash and heat at the same time.Once the water reaches a certain temperature it moves onto the next stage of the wash program. If the water is not heating or the thermostat is not working the programmer wont get the signal to move on.Hope this helps.

Detergent packs are not dissolving

Either:
  1. the water does not get into the dishwasher open the dishwasher 3-4 times during cycle, you should see some water at least once, if not - check water valve, water level float and water pressure.
  2. the pump is clogged - there is water, the motor will run but no water is circulated. Check pump filters, check chopper and impeller.
  3. motor in main pump is not working - could be caused by something stuck on the impeller or chopper or could be a problem with the motor itself or control board. Check if line voltage is coming to the motor during wash/rinse cycle.
Good luck,
