Headphones were pluged into my TV at one point and now for some reason there is no volume. Everything works fine and i played with the settings...nothing seems to work. Any advice before I bring it to a TV repair shop? Thanks!

Re: no sound after pluging in headphones
Not unless you know how to work on a headphone jack and how the jack and the jack switchs work??? Also if you dont know about the HI Voltage saftey issues, it would be best for you to bring this set to a pro tech, as it shouldnt cost to much for a new headphone jack??. Good Luck

i had the same problem but you seem to have all the right equipment, anyways, alright lets take this slow at the end of your turtlebeaches you should have a usb cord and a headphone plug (it looks just like the end of regular head sets) you must have the usb pluged in to get power to your headphones, which you obviously do or you wouldnt see the MIC icon on the party screen when you talk so my guess is you dont have the headphone plug pluged in the back of you tv you MUST MUST MUST have that pluged in, if you do i hate to say it but make sure the tv volume is up also, and like on my flatscreen i have multiple headphone jacks on the back of my tv so try all of them i would put in a cd in my xbox to have a constent sound, but if you Do have all that right the id try the RCA cables that came with the Phones, i hope this helps like i tell most people if i wer there i would have it done in 2 seconds but yah, thanks, Jamie
Are you have the headphones and speakers both pluged in? When you plug in headphones the speakers get muted. You need to change your sound settings back to your sound card if you use usb headphones. The plug on the front of the 4700 also automatically mutes the speakers.
double click the sound icon, down beside the time. goto options, then properties, then if your headphones are pluged into the pink jack on back of pc use your main card in drop down menu, put a tick in recording options . press ok.,
then goto options again, and put a tick on addvance, now under the mic volume control you have addvance button click this and enable mic boost or agp. turn the level up very high and try call some one again.
