Halo 3 i bought ma xbox 360 2day cuz it was ma birth day and i go home 2 check if it works and it doesnt want 2 load rite....da farthest it goes up 2 is 29 percent and then it goes rite back 2 0 percent so i guess im turnin it in 2morrow and buying it brand new

Check to see if your disk is clean if not ask bungie at: Bungie.net

This RROD fix works great. Did it to mine. Consider this if you are no longer under warrenty cuz this will void it if it is.

If the game wasnt new there could be a scratch on the Cd that has been buffed out but isnt visible, i advise you to contact the buisiness where you bought the game and exchange the disc or try getting it buffed again for 6$. If they wont replace the game for free try a buff so its cheaper, and if all doesnt work but im sorry you will need to buy a new copy.

it might be a bed update, goto to system settings then memory highlight harddrive press Y button then clear cache and confirm, then try the game.

Check if your new cd has an uneven surface , like it's bent . Is the grinding noise occuring for all the other games ?, if yes you should check your Xbox's CD reader head .

Halo 3 is buggy disk , I have 2 brand new copys of halo 3 for testing repaired drives
and found that of all the 360 I repair, benq drives will read 99% of the time the hitachi
seem too slow on the seek time to get a
lock/read resulting in a dirty disk error.

Halo 3 does not play on all 360
its just a picky disk .There seem to
be two xboxs thoes that will load halo 3
and thoes that will not.

ok well im not sure if it will work for you but i had the same problem and all i had to do was take the disc to a cleaners and get it cleaned then put in halo three let it load and then i tryed halo 2 and somehow it worked...if it doesnt work for you then...i hope you get it fixed man

i think i kno how 2 solve this problem, cuz the same thing happened 2 me and wat u have 2 do is that u should try ur date birth year, or if u put the last 4 #'s of ur phone then try that, cuz wat happened 2 me was tht i put a code on ma phone it was the last 4 numbers and i turned off the phone 4 a long time, lik almost 2 years, anyway so i turned it off rite and i 4got ma number so i called the company and asked if they could change the number and they did and tht also changed the code so tht means i could get in so yea tht's wat happened w/ me, so i wish u good luck w/ if this solution works xD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is the disc warm? Let it cool off or maybe its because the disc is scratched which means you need to fix it.
