You possibly took out the output ic by crossing speaker wires or touch one to the case when the other was in the terminal. (turn off and unplug when moving speaker wires)
Before taking it in remove all wires unplug power cord wait 30 seconds and plug just the power cord and turn on. If it still goes to f61 it's going to most likely need the output ic replaced.
$70-90 labor and about $100 for the part.
the f61 code is an audio code for panasonic first make sure all connections are correct and tight for spearkes...at the base if unit has base and with connections in back of unit and are fully in to connection terminal...make sure speakers are on and not on mute ...sometimes though you may have to re strip the wires to get into connection termianl in the back of the unit if that does not work call panasonic

1. Plug the printer directly to the wall outlet.
note : do not use any power surge. just plug the unit directly to the wall outlet
2. Reset the printer by unplugging the power cord at the back of the printer while its still on. Plug the power cord after 30 seconds
The F61 indicates a problem detected in the output amp stage and the unit us shutdown to prevent further damage. If you can supply the model number, I can give you the part required and the approximate cost.
Try to power on the unit without the speakers connected. If it works normally without the error showing, then a speaker wire maybe shorted or a speaker defective. If the error F61 is still there, then most likely the Regulator IC is defective in the unit.
you have a problem with speaker cords:- 1-make marks with tape or any marker pen in all speaker cords(left-right-sub- front-rear). 2-after marking remove all speaker cords. 3-insert them one by one until f61 appear. 4-the cord that connected and make the trouble is bad please change it with new one.
DIsconnect sound Amplifier ic (RSN).After removal of the ic if the unit works o.k offcourse without sound than replace ic.If still f61 than sound ic is o.k and check voltege regulators in power supply. You can check dc detect line if it gets activated.
F61 is mainly two resons 1st sound ic or power supply problem in power bord which send signal to system control to shut down the power in order not to damege more.
Several components in the power supply maybe faulty, especially Tranisitor Q5110, Resistor R5114 and Diode D5102 on the power supply board. Check and replace these and also resolder the regulator IC's on the heatsink.
