My DSCT1 has never worked right from day one. The photos are always blurry. What a waste of money.....can anyone tell me a solution, or better yet, a better brand of camera to buy????
Hi,
you didn't mentioned details but dont mind chk this out
-chk lens drives smoothly ?
-chk focus mode.
-chk macro mode is on or off, if it is on turn it off
-chk snp sw its a two step sw while you snapping a picture first you gently press it,not fully, at this time camera focus the subject, then after a moment press fully to take picture.
hope it will be fixed.....
good luck

Instead of green auto mode set to P mode and chagne the flash setting to non auto.If flash is is in auto mode flash will not fire and picture will be blurry. So your flash must fire every time (and it must not be decided by camera's auto flash mode). I am sure this will solve your settings. Please rate if satisfied.
You need to configure the setting of the pictures, by removing it from blur to either sharp, soft or something else, click on the menu button of your camera to start the settings. The problem is as result of the settings you give your camera.
Hi,
Your camera has problem with CCDImager. Good news, Sony will repair it free of cost. Click on Sony Official Website for details. Hope problem will be solved. Have a nice day.
Sony Cybershot works on technology of where is checks the srround light, if light is fine (like in Sun or outside) phots are fine. solution to this either replace flash or put some big light on while taking photos
I called Sony, did what they said, and now my camera is working just fine...no more blurry pics. Go to menu, click arrow right, click arrow down 3x till you get to "Setup 1," click arrow right scroll down to "Initialize," click to right, select OK, press center button. This initialized everything back to default settings and now I don't have blurry pictures anymore.
