Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WMA52 Front Load Washer

Belt tenstion The belt on the aquarius washing machine keeps comming off on the last spin cycle.How do i adjust the tenstion?.The belt looks fine with plenty of grooves in it.

IF you can move the drum from inside more than a few mil the bearing my be shot allowing the drun to move up and down and slackening the belt.

YOU CANT THEY ARE STRECTH BELTS MOST LIKE THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR DRUM. THE COMMON SIZE OF BELT FOR THESE MACHINES ARE EITHER 1153 J5 OR 1158 J5 EITHER WILL DO THE JOB BUT IM GUESSING YOUR MACHINES HAD ITS DAYS. dOES IT MAKE A UNWANTED NOISE WHEN SPINING ?

the motor spins with out the belt , makes me tend to discount the capacitor

offer the belt around the motor pulley first , feed one side of the belt to drum pulley , whilst holding this side to drum pulley turn pulley using other hand , belt should follow natural path onto pulley .

First you should make a drawing of the routing of the belt. there is an belt tenstioner which you must remove the tenstion on the belt which you can use a 3/8 ratchet. Losen the tenstion and the belt should slid off. make sure the new belt is the same size in legth and number of ribs. Spin all pullys to make sure the spin free and not making a grawling noise.

Machine reads F-01 at end of cycle. Sometimes final spin cycle repeats itself several times during last minute of cycle.
F01: Aquarius and Ultima models may show this. It could be a faulty motor or motor control board. The motor tachometer could also be faulty. Some machines have a little rotating magnet and sensor, and the magnet can become detached (not sure about these though on this model). NOTE: if this code is not constant, and tending to come up during spin, check the drive belt for wear or slack, and check the motor brushes.

Squealing normal occurs due to belt slippage. I would check your belts (look for cracks. Check the belt tension as well, most washers have an adjustment, normally on the motor that allows you to increase the tension of the belt.

If part of a belt gets torn and it is long enough, it will hit any part of the washing machine within range and make a clicking noise at every revolution of the motor.

I am pretty sure you need new belts. You should be able to remove a few screws and open the back cover. Between the pulleys there is a tensioner...loosen that so you can remove the belt easily. replace it with a new belt and adjust the tension.

My Hotpoint Aquarius WF210 washing machine drum is not rotating
I think the belt has come off or has been damaged.

To open the machine slide out the machine. On the back panel lower 1/3 you will see a plastic panel remove the screws and the panel will come away. Inside you will see the belt. I suspect you will need to reattach the belt of remove it and buy a replacement.

Why is my GE front load washer breaking the circuit after it starts to fill with water? My GE front load washer keeps breaking the circuit on outlet. It's worked for 5 years with no problems. All the sudden I go to start a load, then as soon as it starts to fill with water the breaker pops & it turns off. Top Loader GE with impeller not agitator leaving oily looking stains I've read a lot of different articles about what might cause this problem. Most say it's due to fabric softeners. The house I'm renting has an older GE HE top Loader with no agitator. It's a low pressure wash...the draining if this makes any difference has to go up. I just did about a month's worth of laundry and nearly ever shirt came out with these spots. Here's the way I do laundry to eliminate potential solutions that are not applicable: * I have never used fabric softeners * I never overfill the machine * I never go past the #2 mark on the cup for the Tide HE detergent * I never wash on hot cycle...colors are washed w cool or cold water * I only wash similar colored clothes. * I clean washer on hot cycle using Affresh after every 10 to 15 loads * I don't use anything else in the washer other than the Tide HE detergent, I e., no Oxiclean, or Borax, etc. * My area does not have hard water. * I don't ever use dryer sheets in the dryer. Can anyone with real experience with these types of top loader machines tell me what could go wrong with the washer that would cause this? Without an agitator, I can't imagine there are any seals that would be leaking oil. Since I don't use fabric softeners, EVER, that's definitely not the cause.
