Change you hdmi connector.

saving activity is due to a voltage problem check your connections and don't leave it in the sun!

The unit is locked up. Go to your manual and it will tell you how to reset it.

try connecting it to your computer via the usb cable. that may reset it. outdated maps will not cause this problem.

You can restore the Nuvi 205 system software to its factory condition by running Garmin's WebUpdater service. You may also want to try a hard reset of your Nuvi.

Plug charger in, and then reset it. Let it charge for awhile before tryng to use it though. It sounds like the battery is very very low. When it is plugged in it still will not operate unless the battery has some charge in it. I hope this helps.

Remove the face cover (GENTLY pry it loose by the fingernail groove directly under the GARMIN logo), press the RESET button, then reattach front cover... this is covered in the owners manual, available online.
