AVR 510 memory loss and s-video problems

First, it won't retain any of it's settings when the unit is unplugged for any length of time. Is there any documentaion on how to fix this? Second, the s-video monitor output has burned out for the third time since I bought the unit new about 5 years ago. Are there any known issues with the 510 regarding this?

In the event of the memory lose, you may check the capacitor C216 on the front PCB and replace with a good 0.047 Farad 5.5V.

How do i factory reset my Harman Kardon avr 55 receiver

Troubleshooting Guide

Processor Reset
In the rare case where the unit's operation or
the displays seem abnormal, the cause may
involve the erratic operation of the system's
memory or microprocessor.
To correct this problem, first unplug the unit
from the AC wall outlet and wait at least three
minutes. After the pause, reconnect the AC
power cord and check the unit's operation. If
the system still malfunctions, a system reset
may clear the problem.
To clear the AVR 520's entire system memory
including tuner presets, output level settings delay times and speaker configuration data,
first put the unit in Standby by pressing the
System Power Control button 2. Next,
press and hold the Tone Mode 8 and the
FM Mode Selector ^ buttons for three
seconds.
The unit will turn on automatically and display

First i got a error message as "memory unsupported please update dimm1".After that i moved the ram to slot 1 after i restarted another error message showing"battery voltage is low ".what is the exact...

these can be related as the main battery on the motherboard is need to retain cmos setting when a system is unplugged from a/c power for extended periods of time.
so the loss of cmos would prompt you about certain components including amount of memory(pending no changes in memory amount/ slot location as a single chip unit must have the mem in slot 1). there is a round 3.0 volt battery that once reports bad, should be replaced. start there and see if you get any other errors. as there could be a problem with the powersupply or motherboard if that doesn't resolve it.

No sound regardless of input. front panel lights up and functions as per inputs however also noticed pwr supply fan and internal heat sink fan do NOT turn on. Any debugging tips appreciated! Thank You...

The power supply has to be on to some extent or it wouldn't light up.

Does it tune FM? That would indicate some life.

No sound? Is it Muted or a tape Monitor selected inadvertently?
