Posted by waldo on 12/06/06 The problem is my Canon Gl2 camcorder, it won't focus, after I tried a cheap non Canon wide angle lenz
I hope I can offer a simple solution. If it doesn't work, then I'll I have to ask a few more questions. I know the GL has many buttons and settings and it can be confusing to keep an eye on all of them. Perhaps the camera was changed accidentally to manual focus? Can you check to see it is set to auto focus. If that isn't the case. When you say you can't focus, do you mean when you try to manually focus it, nothing happens?

The problem that you are
experiencing with your Canon GL2 camcorder is a broken battery release. The repair
cost for this repair is $186.00 parts and labor. This also includes cleaning
and servicing.
We also offer a 6 month
guarantee on the entire camcorder, not just what it was sent in for. The
estimate and the return shipping are free even if you do not have the camcorder
repaired. Please feel free to call, email or post any questions you have and I
would be happy to respond.
Sincerely,
Sheryl Bahr
