Try FEAT #85. Somehow I'll bet someone was playing with the buttons and dialed FEAT 85. It needs the # to cancel.

FEATURE 85 sets "Do Not Disturb", and to cancel any feature, add a # sign.

FEATURE # 85 will cancel it. :)

SOURCE: "flash busy" message when trying to retrieve voicemail messages

It is telling you that the voice mail ports are busy and can not take another call in to the voice mail system. If the port the does not clear up after a min or two then reset the voice mail system . Unplug the power cord from the wall and let it set for a min , then plug it back in and wait about 5 min for the system to come back up , that should free up the ports .

SOURCE: Nortel T3716E send calls to voicemail HELP!

Sounds like the call forward no answer isn;t set up on your extension. The first thing to do is to find out what the voice mail pilot number is. That's done by pressing feature 982. The display should say "set:xxx". The set number provided is the voicemail pilot number. Next you'll need to enter system programming. Programming is done on 7310, 7324 and 7316 type sets. Enter programming by pressing the feature key followed by **266344.When prompted to enter the password enter 266344.
The screen should say TERMINALS&SETS. The 4 top line/feature keys are now used for programming
At the terminals&sets prompt, press the show key (top right arrow). The display should now ask for an extension number. Enter extension number you want to change call forward no answer on.
Press the show key (top right arrow)
The display should say LINE ACCESS
Press the next key (bottom right arrow) .
The display should say CAPABILITIES.
Press the show key (top right arrow) .
The display say foward no answer.
press theshow key (top right arrow)..
The display should say none. Press the chng key and enter in the voice mail pilot number. press the show key again (top right arrow) To review the rings til forward. Press the chng key if you wish to change the ammount of rings til answered. Press the release key when finished

When I put my t7316E on "night" it only rings half ring then sends call to answer machine, Any way to change to a few rings so I can answer it if needed

That is generally how Night mode works - alerting you to a call then directing the caller to voicmail night message. You want to change the Forward No Answer setting in that mode; if your system doesn't support that, set FNA in regular (non-Night) for the attendant phone.

All calls go directly to voice mail

The phone is probably forwarded to voicemail. Leave the handset down and dial "Feature # 4". This will remove the call forwarding option. There are also automated call forwarding options -- Call Forward-No Answer, and Call Forward-Busy. CF/NA will transfer calls to voicemail after 4-rings (for instance). CF/B sends all calls to voicemail if you are on your phone. System programming, by a certified technician, is required to make changes to these options. Hope this helps.

I can call out on my phone just fine, but when people call me the phone doesn't ring. Every call goes to voicemail.

Contact your service provider (AT&T, Verizon, whoever) and have them check your call forwarding settings. I work in AT&T technical support and that is the issue 98% of the time. The calls are set to forward directly to voicemail without even ringing, just have them check it out. :)

HTTC 6800 Not receiving calls in sleep mode

You want to make sure your callforwarding is on. Sometimes when you select sleep mode, the calls will divert directly to Voicemail. Plus, ensure you have signal. Without signal, by default the calls go directily to voicemail. We won't wanna miss a call here. You can follow these steps here. start
settings
phone
services
call forwarding
get settings (wait for a while)
forward all incoming phone calls (check the box)
OK
OK
Exit

In the option to forward calls, there should be an option for the amount of seconds the phone RINGS prior to forwarding directly to voicemail.
IF your HTC device doesn't have the option for voicemail, and your calls are routed else where, contact your carrier for the voicemail number. This is very important!

Cheers!
