Re: to fix or not
Could be many things but if your not a tech you shopuld call a pro to assist you with this repair, as a TV set is no where someone should be tinkering in. If you know electronics, the first thing to check on if you hqave high voltage otr not . If you fo check with a scop the PIP board as they go bad all the time in this set. Also capacitors in the sweep supply goes bad all the time also/ good Luck

Plug your Samsung mobile phone's USB flash cable into the phone and into the computer's 2.0 USB port outlet. When the computer detects a USB connection, a notification screen will appear in the lower right corner of the screen, above the task bar. The phone's software driver will be automatically installed to your computer's hard drive.
Import your pictures to your computer. Click on "Import Pictures" when the "AutoPlay" dialog window pops up. Close the "AutoPlay" window to configure the import settings.
Choose a gallery title for the pictures you are importing. When the blank data form appears in the bottom right corner of the screen, type a name for your gallery in the data form. Click on the "Import" button to begin the downloading process.
Remove the Samsung USB flash cable from the computer and then from the mobile phone. Click on the "Start" menu icon, then select the "Pictures" tab folder. Your newly imported pictures should be stored in this folder. Please Rate this solution. Regards.

I had the same problem last night - sound but no picture form any of the inputs - DVD, VCR, FIOS or antenna. I could still see the TV menu. If you go to the TV menu - you can go to the settings (far right top), from there you can choose to restore factory settings, usually needs a code - 0000 (if you did not choose a different one), select yes when prompted if you want to restore factory defaults. This brought my picture back. I lost all of my picture preferences i had set - but at least I got a picture! I hope this helps!! Marilyn
The TV is in some kind of protection mode, the blinking LED show you an error code.
Try pressing 062596 and then press menu button (do these in quick
motion, don't let them to time out while keying)...see what happens
I also heard that this problem appeared with some people because the of
the burnt fuse in the TV. To fix that it has to be taken to the tech
And yes I also heard about this issue many times, seems like this TV set is very popular with this kind of problem.
go to you menu settings and be sure speakers are turned on and are not set to external,if this does'nt fix remove your dish input to see if you have noise comming through with no picture only snow, if yes the dish is the problem.
