Mpio not showing up on itunes

I just got a new macbook and i tried to plug in my mpio player in and it is not showing up on itunes. I reinstalled the software but nothing happens. It shows usb connected on the mpio player. I tried other usb cords and nothing works. The plug-in for mpio is in the tunes library in the plug-in folder. I have itunes 6.0.5 and I also use an ipod shuffle. It worked fine on the othe old imac before. Could it be that ipod shuffle will not let it read the mpio player. I find that odd if that were the case. thanks for your help.

We just purchased an MPIO and we are having same issue, media player not recognizing that it is plugged in by USB, however MP3 player is.... Retailer had no clue and said the equipment was not broken.... we have another MP3 (RCA) and it works great !!... need fix

You may want to check with tech services from the manufacturer. I know that most electronics if there is an interuption during a firmware update it can ruin the device.

Have you tried downloading the specific drivers for that MP3?

Here is the site...choose your player then download and install...reboot and see if it solves your problem.

Windows unable to format my player

ok you have to format by itself. reset the fl400 by the pinhole then when its off press play and menu at the same time for 10 seconds then press and hold the rec or rew button. after the format, run mpio utility press on setup & conf now you havet it like new
