Ok this problem is a common one but if you never ran into it you wouldnt know. The small coil L401 from the secondary of the horizontal driver transformer to the base of the horizontal output transistor need to bee taken completely out. The enamel on the coil on both sides need to be scrapped off and NOT JUST RESOLDERED!! Then reinsert the coil into the printed circuiyt board, and then resolder. This is not a job for the amature or the di it yourselfer as way to much High Voltage to experiment with. Good Luck

Sanyo LCD 36inch - there is coloured lines going across screen until te tv warms up and then stops . This lasts for at least an hour . Any suggestions?

This is usually related to a defect in the screen itself, or the video processing board. Repairs may not be cheap, would tolerate as long as you can, and maybe just turn on a little before you plan to use it.

My tv turns off by itself and makes a clicking noise

Most likely it has some bad capacitors in the power supply. Flat--panel sets are VERY hard on capacitors, due to the fact that the "rising heat' from the set "cooks" the caps and they fail VERY early.
