I have a quantum futura ce200 and the thread keeps breaking...I followed the instructions to clear it, but the stop/start light keeps flashing red and the little screen shows nothing, no error code, nothing. It only clears after I turn it off, unplug it and remove the embroidery piece. HELP PLEASE
The needle thread breaks
1. the needle thread is not threaded properly
2. The needle thread tension is to tight
3. The needle is bent or blunt
4. The needle is incorrectly inserted
5. The needle thread & the bobbin thread are not set under the presser foot when starting to sew
6. the threads were not drawn to the rear after sewing
7. The thread is either to heavy or to fine for the needle
Testimonial: "Thank you, I've changed the needle, changed threads, and bobbins....I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the bobbins the woman sent with the machine? I'm going to order the ones recommended for this machine and see if that helps. I tried the 'sewing' part and it works great! I've been reading a LOT of blogs and posts about this machine, and the consensus is that this is a VERY touchy, temperamental machine. I'm not giving up yet!!! Thank you sew much Debbi! "
SOURCE: what embroidery download formats can be used on singer ce200
It depends on your software version. The list of supported formats could be found in the manual, on Futura support site or checked right through the sofware menu (File->Open, File->Save as)
