Pyle PLTAB8 Car Component System, Lights will not turn off. Help

Got a Pyle PLTAB8 Car Component System installed and its fine, but the lights will not go off even when the car is off. It was installed by a friend who wired it through the under the hood because I have a stock radio....I'm not very knowledgeable about any of this. How can I get the lights off?

Sounds like he did not wire a remote line from your radio to the amplifier, if he put a 12v from the battery to the amp and the remote spot on the amp then it will not turn off, you will need to either wore a toggle switch to the remote so you can turn it off manually or check the back of your radio for a remote line or splice a remote line from the accessory power supply on your radio so the amp will turn on when the radio is on

I installed a Pyle PLCM17BC the led lights come on but no image when in reverse

There's a specific colored(reverse light)cable that one of the wires on your camera needs to be hooked up to in order for that feature to be enabled..

Do The Pyle PLG6C need an amp? or can i just connect em straight to my stereo

It depends on your stereo you have installed. Some come with a good amp attached and others do not. I have a factory AC delco and it pushes them just fine. so the answer to that would be based on what stereo you have installed.

Hope that helps.

Pyle plcm7300bt what does the green wire reverse car wire connect to + or ground

The green wire connects to the backup lights control. When the gear shift is in "Reverse" this acts as the switch on the "Monitor" and turns the system on so you can see what's behind you to safely "Backup" Hope this helps you.

WILL NOT TURN OFF!

yes. the probs you bought a pyle. lol. the speakers were good back in the days but the electronics really suck and thus you get prlike you do BUT it seems like your installation technician did something wrong. once you turn your car off the unit should shut off. its probably hooked up to a negative ground or wrong wire.take it elsewhere before your car burns.
