Question about Creative Labs MuVo V200 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Usb connect then removes player repeatedly

When I plug in my muvo v200 to load music I get the beep to tell me it has been recognised then another to suggest it has been removed. This repeats ad infinitum so I cannot load music or replace firmware. The player plays the songs already loaded but I cannot change these. Time between beeps is short and there is no icon in My Computer at any time.

Muvo v100

My MuVo was having problems until I installed the latest firmware. The last firmware release was in July 2007. If you haven't updated the player's firmware since then, try downloading it and installing Creative MuVo V100 Firmware 1.05.01.

If you can't get your computer to even recognize the player anymore, you could try reinstalling the Creative Mass Storage Driver 1.07.00.250.

Problem in formatting Creative MuVo V200 MP3 player FM Voice Recorder 1 GB

The below was copyed from an earlier post of mine. Over a period of time your info can get corrupt from transering music back and forth. To format plug it in to usb. Go to my computer It shows up as a removably disc, usually drive f: Right click on drive f: (or the approriate drive) and click format. Let me know what happens, you will have reload the player, also try bypassing the software you are using to tranfer, by opening up drive f: and clicking and dragging your music into it , or you can copy and paste it into drive f: L8R
